Hi Norm,
Some people think I'm airing dirty laundry in public regarding
our poor union/management relations at AS/QX. I think a lot of the university
and think tank folk need a dose of reality now and then about what's really
going on down here in the trenches.
I'm trying not to resort to the tactics of those who would
tear down and destroy. This lawsuit, though, seemed like a perfect example to
show how our unions and management operate. It's not hypothetical--or theory.
And of course all the players got lots more up their sleeves where this came
from.
Some forward progress is being made, which I base more on what
I can feel that what I can measure. Living by feel is a great way to
exist.
This Enron debacle is sure turning out interesting, isn't it?
Hopefully people can learn from this latest example of pain and
suffering--Steve

Dear Steve,
The dinosaurs who claim to advance economic justice for workers can't
figure you out. But you're steering in the right direction. Don't
stoop down to their level and keep your message clear. Good people will
listen to you.
