MONETARY: CESJ-ThirdWay Challenge: Urgent?

Dear Friends:

 

I feel I am indeed challenged by the email reply of Mr. Norman Kurland of CESJ-ThirdWay, when he wrote:..."The challenge is to find new leaders who are not afraid of revolutionary ideas". There are so many leaders but compromised and being being bribed not to go ahed but to remain timid.

I do not want to dwell into false hope and expectation nor to any kind of presumption but I am not afraid of revolutionary ideas if such ideas are proven to be genuinely effective and thus could emancipate Filipinos from the dungeon of poverty and economic injustice and if such ideas could give birth to real common welfare schemes and economic security for the Filipino people for the present and for the future.

 

I am seemed to be attracted by the ThirdWay-CESJ proposed solutions as claimed to be another ladder to economic justice or indeed the real one, to promote and put into law a CAPITAL HOMESTEAD ACT for the Philippines in such a way to build up a genuine ownerships society where financial and economic power will flow from the bottom-up. But it is not yet clear the specific mechanics how to do this?

 

The question is:

 

Can Eric V. Encina, a Filipino grassroot activist for economic and monetary justice, of his NGO: FILIPINO ALTERNATIVE SOLUTIONS FOR SUSTAINABLE SURVIVAL, INC. be capable as a new Filipino leader (please, I avoid self-elevation) to lead, promote and campaign for this claimed to be revolutionary ideas for change, jsutice and security for the Filipino people? Am I (Eric Encina) qualified, to be a leader from the grassroot? Or this is just another illusion?

 

It might have been good if any Filipino politicians or economists or those with masteral and doctoral degrees and professions to take this revolutionary ideas. But, alas, it appears that Filipino politicians and economits, with due respect, are seemed no zeal and no interest at all except if they can get kickbacks or immediate money from it. Philippine President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo is an economist but it seems that economic theories that do not work for the poor Filipinos are only used as games only for the benefits of the powerful few.

 

I also notice that the documents sent to me are voluminous and indeed there is a lot of time needed seriously reading, perusing and studying with long-term comprehensive studies and mastery in the process to make it known in the Philippines. There are tremendous things to be done in greater efforts to educate the Filipino people even those who are already educated.

Well, if you, friends, really guarantee or endorse CESJ Third Way proposed solutions and if you think this is urgent for the Philippines, what do you think we must do now?

 

I am proposing right now to comprehensively study this ideas for 3 months time and then I will hold 'A PEOPLE'S FORUM' OR  a seminar with participants from selected few, grassroot-based individuals in the region? Must I invite the politicians and economists?

 

Could anyone, or somebody or agencies or organizations concerned based overseas therefore sponsor this comprehensive study of the Kelsonian theory or Capital Homestead Act proposed solutions?

 

I am not afraid to be a new Filipino leader of revolutionary ideas but I am only careful, taking the ideas slowly and precisely for the long-term. I am willing to take this revolutionary ideas but I need the means to do so as I am, and the rest of my poor Filipino family-members, are in the state of very difficult economic circumstances in the region. We can't fight without aided weapons!

 

The challenges are enormous and likely insurmountable. The Filipino politicians and economists both here and overseas should take this challenge to heart and be genuinely committed for the welfare of the Filipino people.

Finally, are these CESJ proposed solutions already successful in other countries? What level of success and what is the end result?

There are so many ideas coming from the Western world that need to be tried and tested if applicable, feasible and workable or achievable in the Philippines. I am now presently in the crux of the matter to select among those presented solutions while the time is running out and crucial  to trek the real road of solutions. Thanks.
