FILIPINO ALTERNATIVE SOLUTIONS FOR SUSTAINABLE SURVIVAL, INC.
 (Non-Governmental; Non-Profit; Non-Party; Non-Sectarian)
 Company Reg. No. CN200529799 / TIN 006 02737-000 Tax-Exempt/NON-VAT
Poor Filipino families and natives working for alternative and organic  solutions for sustainable survival and social/economic/monetary justice and reform.

What is FILIPINO ALTERNATIVE SOLUTIONS FOR SUSTAINABLE SURVIVAL, INC. (FAS-SSI)? Who are we?

Filipino Alternative Solutions For Sustainable Survival, Inc. or FAS-SSI is a newly-founded Philippine Registered NGO of poor Filipino families and natives working for alternative solutions mainly on organic farming and the campaign for change of the systems for justice and  for sustainable survival in the province, or in the region, in the Philippines with the Philippine Securities And Exchange Commission Company Registration No. CN200529799 approved on September 29, 2005 until 2055 with all the requirements completed at the SEC Iloilo Extension Office, Iloilo City and approved by the Philippine Bureau of Internal Revenue District Office No. 72, Roxas City, Capiz, Philippines with RDO Control No. 2005-720-002494 with the registration date issued on October 12, 2005 and with Taxpayer Identification Number or TIN 006-027-327-000 as NON-VAT and formal application for tax-exemption is still underway but understandably we are belong to a  tax-exempt non-profit organization but will be subject to future taxation obligations and adjustments when and if we will have realizable and income-generating organic farming projects and profits in the province. FAS-SSI has also complied with the Mayor’s Permit licensing requirements, with the Registration Permit No. 05 2356 issued on December 1, 2005 subject for compliance and renewal every year when and if there is a need,  even though we do not have yet any profit in our organic farming project to be started up by January-December 2006.  We complied and  paid corresponding registration fees and Municipal License Tax  at our  annual renewal compliance.

Filipino Alternative Solutions For Sustainable Survival, Inc. is founded by a group of  poor Filipino families and natives led by Eric V. Encina, the Filipino Monetary/ Reformer/Social Crediter Activist for  Justice & Alternatives   and a freelance writer, organic farmer  and his colleagues as the Members of the Board of Trustee, members and volunteers. We have just founded this NGO this September 2005 and we are in the infant beginning after series of meetings and consultations. But we are already currently doing a pilot organic farming project in the village here in our province. We are a non-profit, non-governmental, non-sectarian and non-partisan organization  of poor Filipino families and natives working for alternative solutions for sustainable survival; campaigning for life, family, peace, justice,   monetary reform, freedom, equality, charity, solidarity, economic democracy and survival of the poor, promoting organic, educational and health alternatives for sustainable living, and for environmental protection, preservation and restoration in union of building a new civilization of love, justice, security and prosperity for all.

Our major  motto for change: THE TIME IS RIPE FOR ALL  CONCERNED POOR INDIVIDUALS, FAMILIES, FRIENDS AND FOR ALL NATIVES AND INDIVIDUALS IN THE PROVINCE, IN  THE REGION, IN THE PHILIPPINES TO BE OPENLY UNITED IN DIVERSITY AND IN HARMONY AND SOLIDARITY OF VISION AND MISSION FOR A NEW RADICAL AND NECESSARY CREATIVENESS, ACTION AND DECISION FOR AUTHENTIC CHANGE OF THE SYSTEM TO BUILDING A NEW COMMUNITY OF LOVE, JUSTICE, COMPASSION, PEACE, SECURITY AND PROSPERITY FOR ALL.

What is the vision of Filipino Alternative Solutions For Sustainable Survival, Inc. (FAS-SSI)?

The FAS-SSI envisions a just and humane community where everyone or every member-family  will have a provision of economic and financial security at sustainable level from the cradle to the grave. We are very much influenced by  monetary reform proposals. But this vision can only  be possible through the committed and  creative  participation, cooperation, collaboration and initiative of the member-families in the advocacy campaigns, in the implementation of the projects and activities. The vision cannot just be possible too without declaring  a peaceful and just  war against the cruel  systems. Not a violent and bloody  war where we  kill people, but in fact a psychological war against the voodoo economics and  unjust economic and monetary system, the war against the divisive and nefarious politics,  the war against the chemically-based farming, the war against the  drug medicines and health systems that are unfair and deceptive. We are at our long-term strategies picking up  a just and  peaceful  war that we can win for the attainment of our vision at  the end.  However, we do this slowly and precisely from 2005-2055.

What are the purposes  of the FAS-SSI Organization?

  1. For the educational campaign on alternative and organic  solutions for our sustainable survival of the poor farming families and other poor families and natives in the province such as environmentally, health and life-saving organic farming methods, natural animal raising welfare projects.

  1. For the introduction and promotion of mutual exchange system or scheme or barter system, well-research/referenced alternative/local/community/regional currency system if and when possible and applicable through local Employment Trade System in the villages to enhance, ameliorate and improve organic farming and or animal raising project. Our organization may also try to initiate or handle an exclusive debt-free money like survival fund for the poor members or in other terms as grant or aid, and interest-free or lowest interest loans to poorest and indigenous individuals, families and natives in the villages for survival and home-based employment systems or schemes.

WE CAN SUM UP THAT OUR ORGANIZATION WITH STRONG WILL, DETERMINATION AND COMMITMENT,  IS DESIGNED TO HELP TO SAVE THE POOR FILIPINO FAMILIES BY ORGANIC FARMING AND ECONOMIC AND MONETARY REFORM CAMPAIGNS IN THE REGION FOR OUR YEARS OF EXISTENCE AS AN ORGANIZATION FOR THE POOR WITHOUT FURTHER DEPENDENCY ATTITUDES TO FOREIGN AND OVERSEASE AID.

What are the following Mission Statements of FAS-SSI?  What are  our aims?

We are not only working   for survival but for change of the system. We are all working for no salary but we depend on donation from you to continue our mission, operation and project.

We want to pioneer to represent the interests of the common and mostly poor families and peoples especially the marginalized through projects, campaigns, proposals, lobbying and distribution of information, research materials and publications for the references of the members for change. We keep to endeavor at all times to consider and provide for, not only the needs of ourselves, families and friends, but also all those disadvantaged people the FAS-SSI has been formed to serve and empower. We keep to uphold the values of SHARING, CO-OPERATION, COMPASSION, FELLOWSHIPS AND HONESTY and will make these the basis of our own way of life in our organization with the members and society at large.

We also keep to educate our people about the root-causes of poverty, of our current social and financial-economic problems which are:

a corrupt monetary system being unfortunately held by an equally, if not more, corrupt political system and politicians which in turn is held in check by the apathy and non-involvement of the majority of the Filipinos citizens.

a corrupt  chemically-based farming being promoted and financed by the government and investment of,  for the mega- interest and profits  of the national and multi-national rich  chemical companies and tycoons, that is,  poisoning the natural fertility and substance of soil, causing environmental damage, devastating health problems, huge indebtedness and poverty  to poor Filipino  families and children in the long-term.

In the long-term, we will also try to correct the present financial-economic system by a real democracy-rather than the current sham democracy only for the rich and the influential, the educated and those with economic and banking access. We will employ or implement a just money system-where, above all, a far greater share of the nation’s money supply must be of GOVERNMENT DEBT-FREE MONEY which can benefit all Filipino people mostly the poor rather than the bank created money which only benefit banks, shareholders, government officials, national and multinational tycoons and corporations and powerful few.

We will also try to campaign within the next 5-10 years time for financial-economic security to every citizen through supplementary basic income or dividend or family supplemental income or wage supplements or child welfare support to mostly poor families.

We will also continue to definitely and radically campaign against debts, for the cancellation of Philippine domestic and foreign debts and to be free from the supervision and tutelage of IMF and WB of rich nations.

We will also debunk and expose the monopoly of credit or control of money by the present debt-based banking system that causes scandals of debt and poverty to individuals, families, communities, tribes and nations.

We will also continue to challenge the corporate rule agenda locally, nationally, internationally by criticizing their policies disadvantageous to the poor and we will be offering local alternatives such as ORGANIC FARMING AND LOCAL PRODUCTION, honest service, not money-making gimmick service, people first before profits, more cooperation and less competition.

We will and must not accept any funding from any political parties or figures. We will only rely largely on individuals, families, private agencies both locally and overseas willing to support our work and projects or activities.

We represent ourselves and citizens against the powerful special interests that dominate the political and economic process in our province, in our region, in the our country. We will also tackle our consumer rights, issue on open government, fair trade among members and in the community, healthy environment, health, nutritional and organic issues at large, good working condition of the poor.

We will definitely show concern to life, family rights and issues and the threats to life of the innocents and the plight of the young people, the beggars, the marginalized, the unemployed and those suffering health problems.

We will touch the issues from time to time on human-racial-cultural dignity, rights, religious liberty, freedom, equality, charity, solidarity, environmental protection, preservation and restoration in our province and in the whole Philippines.

What are the current priority concerns or campaigns of FAS-SSI? (2006-2007)

  1. Genuine development and progress or improvement of our mission-office in Roxas City, Capiz, Philippines.
  2. Genuine implementation of our essential activities like our organic farming project for 2006 in Capiz. (We will discuss  the conditions and the policies contained). We are already doing a pilot ORGANIC FARMING PROJECT in  small village of Yabton of poor Filipino families, of a tiny town of Ivisan, Capiz Province, Philippines. We are clearing and ploughing the soil and applying the ORGANIC METHODS. We have already initially planted some herbal plants, vegetables and fruit trees for our months and years of cropping.
  3. Acquiring more  agricultural properties for the extension of long-term  organic farming and natural animal raising projects in Capiz in the name of the FAS-SSI.
  4. Sending letters of appeal to overseas-based agencies, organizations, institutions, individuals related to monetary reform and economic and or monetary justice  for any possible funding to continue carry our projects and activities for 2006-2055.
  5. Forging  collaborative contact-partnerships to other like-minded individuals and similar agencies and organizations in the world for the benefit of the poor member-families and for the benefits of other poor, marginalized and disadvantageous families and children in the villages, in the province, in the Philippines.
  6. Holding meetings, seminars, studies on   monetary reform, economic justice, organic farming, animal welfare, herbal, nutritional and alternative medicine campaigns and promotions in the region.
  7. Inviting foreign speakers, visitors to speak about monetary reform and   assessors and investigators for project assessment and implementations.
  8. Inviting  overseas-based relief agencies for any practical survival needs of the poor member-families and other poor families in the region.
  9. Serious memberships policies to new member poor families.
  10. Frequent inculcation of the FAS-SSI mission, vision and aims to the member-families.

The FAS-SSI members must subscribe that “because the roots of our present financial-economic, social and political problems are the most part philosophical and economics by themselves, the SOLUTION must also be essentially and genuinely philosophical and economics and finance at alternative schemes to provide us alternative solutions for sustainable survival in the long-term in the Philippines.

How can the FAS-SSI members help to win these priority concerns and campaigns?

  1. Pray to God with genuine and honest work, collaboration, participation and initiative assistance for the improvement and progress of the organizational activities, projects and aims. We are in the battle for the direction of our lives, of our family, of our society, community and nation, the development and stages, against the present systems. We are in the very critical infant beginning considering our weak position and financially-fragile operation. By initiatives, we must apply the dictum of: “ACTA NON VERBA” in cases and in the event we can freely do so without having told to do but in consultation and respect to the members of the Board of Trustee and officers and the rights of every member.
  2. FAS-SSI members are asked to help the organization in their own capacities and  obligations ( ethically respecting  and considering  their own timetable if and when he/she/they can do so): time, efforts and any possible resources when the need arises or in times of emergency.
  3. FAS-SSI members are asked to comply with the rules and regulations of the organization and be conformed with the new approved ideas of the President  in consultation with the Board of Trustee members and members for the improvement, progress of the activities, projects and advocacy campaigns.
  4. FAS-SSI members are asked to regularly attend the meetings every month at the scheduled time and designated place without procrastination of time, if possible in full attendance and participation.
  5. FAS-SSI members are asked not to make any contentious or contradictory ideas and proposals against the mission, vision and aims of the organizations unless and except proven effective and essentially good  for the organization. Likewise, members are asked to carefully, consistently, prudently  and intelligently   be equipped to grasp the ideas of the President as essentially good for the progress of the organization and  the projects.
  6. FAS-SSI members are asked to avoid any pretensions, presumptions, trickery to try to  unethically and immorally obtain or  benefit from the resources of the organization nor abuse the membership rights.
  7. FAS-SSI members are asked to practice decent behaviors and attitudes in the organizational operation, activities and projects and towards each other with respect and kindness and  with sincere corrective measures.
  8. FAS-SSI members must, by all means, have no  any self-centered personal goals, tendencies, impulses and ambitions not good to other members and to the organization as a whole.
  9. FAS-SSI members must always be a  reform-minded individuals within ethical dimensions and science of common sense,  and in respect to laws of the Philippines but not  be too legalistic or be in the wrong side of the law. Likewise members must practice faith and morality at all times and  at all places and free from any vices like smoking, drinking liquor, gambling and other forms of modern lifestyles inimical to change.
  10. FAS-SSI members must do and practice what they say and keep up  the  principles on alternative solutions for sustainable survival  at all times and at all places.
  11. The FAS-SSI members must always fight against any injustice and expose the evils of any scams and racketeering elements that destroy the families, individuals and communities in our region. And at the same must endeavor to promote any alternatives within ethical procedures and honesty.

Everyone can be  a leader for reform  of the organization as Rosalyn Carter wrote: ‘A GOOD LEADER TAKES PEOPLE TO WHERE THEY WANT TO GO-----A GREAT LEADER TAKES PEOPLE WHERE THEY OUGHT TO BE.”

“THERE IS NO DOUBT THAT IF THE HUMAN RACE ARE TO HAVE THEIR DEAREST WISH AND BE FREE FROM THE DREAD OF MASS DESTRUCTION, THEY COULD HAVE AT LEAST AS AN ‘ALTERNATIVE’, WHAT MANY OF THEM MIGHT PREFER, NAMELY THE SWIFTEST EXPANSION OF MATERIAL WELL-BEING. I MEAN NOT ONLY WEALTH BUT A DEGREE OF LEISURE FOR THE MASSES SUCH AS HAS NEVER BEFORE BEEN POSSIBLE IN OUR MORTAL STRUGGLE FOR LIFE. THESE MAJESTIC POSSIBILITIES OUGHT TO GLEAM AND BE MADE TO GLEAM BEFORE THE EYES OF THE TOILERS IN EVERY LAND AND OUGHT TO INSPIRE THE ACTIONS OF ALL WHO BEAR RESPONSBILITY FOR THEIR GUIDANCE. WE AND ALL NATIONS STAND AT THIS HOUR IN HUMAN HISTORY,BEFORE PORTALS OF SUPREME (economic and environmental) catastrophe(s) and measureless rewards.
