It might be an idea to put subscribe/unsubscribe
info as a footer
to help those who are unaware of listserv protocol
for leaving
a list. I've noticed a lot of groups are doing
this, probably in
reaction to the flood of newbies. The lack of
knowledge doesn't
of course excuse the rudeness of the posts, if they
are genuine.
I say this last, because there have been two
different
names signed to an identical message; although two
members
of the same institution could be sharing the
sentence, in addition
to their lack of procedural knowledge.
