Mondragon: Registration for Community Economics Conference, Sydney NS, July 7 & 8 2006

Announcing the 30th Annual Festival of Community Economics Conference 

July 7 and 8, 2006 
Cape Breton University, Sydney Nova Scotia 


Guest speakers include Dr. Inazio Irizar, Mondragon (Spain) and Dianne 
Kelderman, President of the Nova Scotia Cooperatives Council. 

Workshops will cover the following topics: 
-tourism development 
-Community Economic Development Investment Funds (CEDIFs) 
-Mondragon as an economic model 
-Regional Development Cooperatives 
-the Social Economy 

Fees are $300 for government and university sponsored, $30 for students and the 
general public, and $5 for seniors.

Everyone is invited to attend. Please return the Registration Form attached by

We are also offering a University Course on “Innovative Structures: Mondragon, 
Quebec, and Emilia Romagna.” This course will be offered during the first two 
weekends in July. Focus will be on Mondragon and comparisons made with Emilia 
Romagna and some Quebec cases. For Business credit or audit.
