Dear Robert Oakeshott

Thanks for your message. I'm glad that my book 'Jobs of Our Own:
Building a Stakeholder Society' has reached you, and that you are
finding things in it that interest you. An earlier working title was
'The Distributrists: Chesterton, Belloc and the Antigonish and
Mondragon Experiences', but it was felt to be too esoteric. Like you,
I will be hoping to find a US publisher during visits to the US in
June and October, not least because that seems to be the only way to
secure a US Amazon.com listing. Meanwhile, copies of the Australian
edition are available in the US for $US19.95 plus $US4 post and
packing from the American Chesterton Society,4117 Pebblebrook Cir.,
Minneapolis, MN 55437, or from the Australian publishers, Pluto
Press, Locked Bag 199 Annandale, NSW, 2038, Australia, for $A32.95
plus overseas post and packing $A12. There is also a European edition
from Comerford & Miller, 36 Grosvenor Road, West Wickham, Kent, BR4
9PY, United Kingdom. Thanks again for your kind words, and I'll look
forward to hearing further from you once you are back in the UK. Best
wishes, Race Mathews
