Real Time Chat 5:00 p.m. EST, Weds. Feb.9 - Bob Stumberg will present his concerns re: SQPQ - and instructions for participation

Dear Homesteaders:

I spoke w/ Bob Stumberg, from the Georgetown Law Center, co-author of International Investor Rights and Local Economic Development (which is available in the COG library). He originally raised questions about SQPQ and international law. He conducts a program that provides local government officials with tools to deal with the encroachment of global corporations. He thinks our ideas may be useful tools once we refine them sufficiently to attach them to specific problems as proposed solutions. I hope to send you another email today with a revision of SQPQ based on my chat w/ Bob. I hope it can serve as a basis for our on-line chat tomorrow.

The chat will take place at 5:00 p.m. EST or New York time.  PLEASE EMAIL ME IF YOU PLAN TO ATTEND.

Following are the instructions for participation.
To participate in the Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2000 5:00 PM New York Time meeting of the

   internet explorer.

username, email. You ONLY need to write a nickname. Anything
   you want.

can write your messages. In the window above, you will see
what you and others have written. On the right side, there
will be a list of all the others who are connected to the
   chat.
8. Write your message and hit enter. It will appear in the chat.
9. Sometimes you may get bounced off. If so, simply repeat
   steps 2 to 6 again.

Good luck!
