Real Time On-Line Discussion of Broad Ownership Policy Proposals Progress

Dear Homesteaders:

        We need your input to make the COG policy discussions work. This email
aims to organize the first real-time on-line chat of the Homestead
participants. We continue to explore various ways to include diverse people
in these discussions, despite the our funding limitations which currently
limit us to cyberspace.

        The COG Homestead discussion group has not been very active since the
Ownership-Economics group began. Our hope for this discussion section is to
review a set of policy proposals that extend beyond the reach of current
ownership broadening policies, and to develop means of improving the
visibility and credibility in the public debate of those we deem
worthwhile. Our first steps require us to propose policies for
consideration, and decide which ones are worth pursuing.

        We need some succinct outlines of policy ideas along with a strategic
analysis by the author or proponent regarding necessary research,
education, publication or other next steps to move the ideas along. My
stock quid pro quo proposal was one such idea, although I have not proposed
the next steps analysis on it. I need to incorporate some of the criticisms
of that idea before I can formulate next steps.

        For those who have propounded such ideas in book length form,  would you
please provide succinct summaries of the ideas and the necessary next
steps, including broadening the audience for the discussion.

Homestead Group, by providing information on your availability.
