[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] Strategic Planning Analysis and Use of Cogall vs. Homestead
Dear Shann:
Please note that since our spamming disaster earlier this year, no one
can
send a message to COGAll except Dan and me. However, you can always send
something directly to the Homestead discussion at Homestead@cog.kent.edu,
or to any of the other discussions. Homestead is the location for
disucssion of policy proposals that have yet to be enacted anywhere. The
other discussions are for existing legislation, best and worst practices, etc.
I would like a response on this question. I am trying to foster a
discussion of each set of ideas proposed on its own merits rather than a
strict debate between Norm's version of Kelso and your proposals. I have
heard little response to my proposal of either international trade
agreement language or constitutional amendments of a corporate quid pro quo
for government largesse, which I sent out to the Homestead group.
I plan to propose that each submitting author provide a SWOT (Strengths,
Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) analysis of his/her own proposals
and that others respond regarding other people's proposals in those
categories. I am trying to inspire discussion about the political efficacy
of each set of ideas with the aim of moving toward implementation strategies.
Does this make sense to you? Do you have any comments on what would be a
good way to proceed?
Thanks,
Deb Olson
