Software exporters like Infosys, Wipro, Satyam Computers and HCL Technologies, have very aggressive Employee Stock Ownership plans. Infosys, for instance, is seven per cent owned by employees (excluding directors). Chief executive officer S Ramadorai has recently announced a virtual stock option plan to reward TCS employees. The new compensation plan will be linked to the economic value added (EVA) and will be in place before the year-end. In this, employee rewards like direct salary benefits, performance-based bonuses and virtual stock options will be linked to the EVA. -- Dan Bell International Program Coordinator Ohio Employee Ownership Center Kent State University Kent, OH 44242 (330) 672-0333 << New direct number!
