The way to calm the speculative fevers on Wall Street is to institute a two-tiered interest policy as we proposed under Capital Homesteading. What Rodney has called "interest-free money" would not be available to the rich to buy the relatively stagnant pool of already issued corporate securities, new Capital Homesteading shares would be issued to finance economic growth on low-cost credit for the general population and stock values would begin to reflect projected pre-tax dividend yields. Thus, the Wall Street fever would become drastically lowered.
