Again I am catching up on the debate and agree with the
points made so far but would like to add if I may a few further
points.
Certainly in the UK there is still the historic
Master/Servant culture, this us and them culture does not lend itself to
the Trust that is needed in EO
The feeling that it is to good to be true and there must
be a catch in it. Some cases employees have been used to mask a management
buy-out.
The employees organisations have shown at best little
interest and in some cases downright opposition to EO especially from
Privatisation.
There is still a feeling of "Why should we buy what we
already own, or so we have been told for many years".
The feeling that they only involve us when they are in a
mess so why should we get involved.
