Mr. Bell,

Thank you for the opportunity to introduce myself.  Part of my full-time job as
a planning and economic development specialist for the State of Hawaii used to
involve administration of Hawaii's now-dormant Employee Ownership and
Participation (EOP) Program.  However, I still have a strong interest in EOP,
and analysis of various ways to broaden capital ownership is major part of my
Ph.D. dissertation, which I'm trying to finish on a part-time basis.  This--in
combination with the fact that I subscribed to all of the COG discussion
groups--is why my level of active participation in this discussion may be
limited.   But if I have anything of interest to say, I certainly will try to do
so if time permits.

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Dan Bell, and I am the
moderator for this discussion group. I work as the International
Program Coordinator for the Ohio Employee Ownership Center of
Kent State University. On issues of privatization, I have been
to Russia, Hungary, Belarus, Egypt and Chile.
