Jackie -
I got your draft in hard copy today. I assume that you have sent it to Joe
to post to the website.
A glance through picked up a couple of queries that I can answer as well as
a couple to me which I cannot. Here they are:
p. 12: Rudolf
1976 election.
Swedish regional funds were liquidated after the Conservative government
came to power in 1991 under Carl Bildt.
p. 13: the status of the Danish funds is unknown by me
p. 17: I don't know of a Danish law on this
You should query Erik Maaloee or Gorm Winther on these.
p. 19: For Slovenia, see Aleksandra Kanjuro-Mrcela, "Economic Democracy in
Slovenia: The Impact of Political and Economic Changes in the Process of
Transition," pp. 183-205 in Hancock-Logue cited below.
p. 22: Pension plans. What exactly is the share voting rights situation on
401(K) plans' holdings of employer securities? Can employees vote those
shares?
Bibliography: The article on Elinar is John Logue & Olga Klepikova,
"Restructuring Elinar: A Case Study of Russian Management Reform,
Decentralization, and Diversification," in M. Donald Hancock and John
Logue, TRANSITIONS TO CAPITALISM AND DEMOCRACY IN RUSSIA AND CENTRAL EUROPE
(Westport, CT: Praeger, 2000), pp. 67-93.
