[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] Use of COG Website by EFES members and Joint EFES/COG Translation Project
Dear Marc:
I am sending this message to you and the 80 people subscribed to the
EFES
COG discussion list. We have been using this list primarily for
announcements. If there is to be a more active EFES group, you should
decide if you want all that email to go to all 80, or if you would like the
disucssion participants to sign up for a smaller discussion group. If you
decide on a smaller group, we will give you a special listserv address for
that group. If anyone getting this message does not want to be on that
discussion list, please let me know by reply to this email.
Congratulations on your Warsaw meeting success and all the other
successes
you have recently reported, and the interest of the European Union in
supporting your efforts.
I am honored to be elected to the EFES Board and will whatever I can to
aid EFES's success.
Michael Harrington told me that many people at the EFES meeting were
interested in using the COG website as a resource, but that for some of
them its use of English was a barrier. We would like to work with EFES to
get translation services for COG. Is it possible to get either direct
(in-kind) translation service from the European Community, or funding to
pay for translation of the material on the website?
Please encourage EFES members to email the EFES discussion group in
whatever language they choose.
Marc, please change the email address you use for me from
debgrobanolson@compuserve.com to dgo@esoplaw.com.
Best regards,
Deb Olson
