Dear Monetary Group
members,
A substantial proposal
has been made for the GJM website and its Five
Justices theme and thus for the strategy of the whole GJM movement.
Although large, (around 33 pages) it is far from incomplete (or polished!)
and there are pages to be added and even long submitted text is missing.
But you should be able to get a good idea of things and also see that
in
the various Justices there is opportunity for relative detail and
insertions. To take an example, there is a section on taxes, briefly
indicating some tax proposals as warranting consideration.
Amendments or insertions
or comments etc are invited. Please keep
insertions short, if possible. Of course, members might feel that the
whole
proposal should be rejected because there is a better way of doing things.
If that is so, they are invited to do a 10-15 line outline briefly covering
the following matters:
1. An overall theme
or way of attractively presenting the subject.
2. A way of involving many groups and ideas across the world.
3. The key policy issues which express the subjects of money, economics,
social matters, environment, and peace AND their inter-relation to each
other.
4. The policies should be briefly expressed in a few words at most
because we all know the shorthand for these things and, if something
is not
clear, we can ask.
